New boards of parastatals and governing council of schools are expected to be announced anytime soon following the dissolution of the old ones by Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State last Tuesday.Those affected by the dissolution include the boards of the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA), the Anambra State Small Business Agency (ASSBA), the Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ASPHCDA); and the governing councils of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital as well as Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.Others include: the Local Government Service Commission;the State Civil Service Commission; the Local Government Staff Pensions Board; Anambra State College of Health Technology, Obosi; the Anambra State Emergency Management Agency, (ANSEMA); the Anambra State Sports Development Commission (ANSSDC); the Anambra State Boundary Commission; the Anambra State Pilgrims Board; Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA); the Anambra State Insurance Agency (ASHIA); the Anambra State Clean Drainage and Forest Preservation Agency; the Leisure Parks and Street Beautification Agency; the Anambra Road Maintenance Agency; the Hydrafoam Concrete Block Agency; the Anambra State Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA); the Anambra State Fisheries and Aquaculture Business Development Agency; the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS); the Anambra State Library Board; the Adult & Non-Formal Education Agency; the Anambra State Action Committee on AIDS (ANSACA); the Anambra State Housing Development Corporation Council; the Anambra State Bureau of Public Procurement; and the governing councils of Nwafor Orizu College of Education and Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu.A release signed by the commissioner for information, Sir Paul Nwosu, and made available to newsmen, said new ones would be reconstituted in due course.
