Relatives, friends and we’ll wishers gathered early at the Basilica to witness the ordination where all the rites of ordination were performed by the Archbishop to configure them in the Order of Jesus Christ.
In a homily, the Archbishop pointed out that the ordination of the deacons into priesthood was a call from God and that it was God that had already screened them to qualify for the work of priesthood.
According to the Archbishop, the new priests must be ready o obey there superiors and be ready to sacrifice their lives with Christ.
He said that the basis of taking an oath by the new priests is to ensure obedience to his Bishop and his successors.
The Archbishop warned that priesthood is not for avarice but for kingdom of God.
