The Metropolitan Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Rev Valerian Okeke and the Auxilliary Bishop of Onitsha, Most Rev Denis Isizoh today, buried the remains of Rev Fr Charles Okechukwu Okeke-Udogwu who died under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday 24th March 2020 at Oroma – Etiti in Anambra West local Government Area of Anambra State.
The burial mass was held at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Onitsha where few family members and sympathizers gathered to pray for peaceful repose of his soul.
In an emotion laden homily, the Chief Press Secretary to the Archbishop, Rev Fr Benjamin Ogbunuko described the late Fr Okeke- Odogwu as a workaholic and a trustworthy priest endeared himself to all.
Fr Ogbunuko re-echoed the Archbishop’s earlier remarks urging the bereaved family not to cry so much but to give thanks to God for the gift of a Priest in the family.
Until his death,Rev Fr Charles Okechukwu Okeke-Odogwu (41) was the parish priest at the Holy Cross Parish,Oroma-Etiti.
He hailed from Alor in Idemili South Local Govt Area of Anambra State.
