Echoes from the Basilica..

The Onitsha Archdiocesan Catholic Altar Servers Association attended a thanksgiving mass at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity,Onitsha where special prayers were offered for the progress of the association by the officiating priest.
The members who donned their special regalia were led by their chairman, Sir Vitalis Ewelike.
Sir Ewelike said it was deserving for the association and other groups to ocassinally thank the Almighty God for his guidance,protection and wisdom in order to forge ahead in life.
He commended the good works of the Basilica Rector at the Basilica where a lot of construction work was going on to beautify the environment.
Sir Vitalis also on behalf the Altar Knights Association and it’s Chaplain Rev Fr Benjamin Ojukwu, congratulated Archbishop Valerian Okeke on his 40th Priestly Anniversary.
He pointed out that on his 40th priestly anniversary, Archbishop Valerian Okeke has achieved tremendous milestone Worthy of commendation.
Officials,patrons and patronesses of the association who attended the thanksgiving are,Sir Victor Orakwue,Secretary of the association Mrs Gladys Onwubuariri,Lady Beatrice Nwosu and the coordinator,Dunukofia region Ide T.Agim.
Others are,the Onitsha coordinator Mr Fredrick Akunachumba,Mr Christopher Okezie the Iyiowa Coordinator.
Also present are,Barrister Stanley Nkem,Dr Mrs Vera Orajekwe and Mrs Cordelia Okosi.
