Members of Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria, Nnobi region, last Saturday, 29th January, 2022, ended a nine days revival that prepared the faithful for 2022 spiritual journey.
The chaplain of the region Rev Fr. John Chinedu Nnaemeka who spoke to Trinitas correspondent said the target of the revival is to upgrade the lives of the members spiritually in order to be able to face challenges of the year 2022.
According to him, the children of God are meant to upgrade always because the Bible made us to understand in Ephesians 6: 12 that we are fighting not against flesh and blood but against principalities, evil forces. ‘”In order to over come the forces of the day, we must upgrade so that we can operate in the spiritual realm victoriously and that why we chose the theme ‘ operating in the supernatural frequency.
He further urged members and faithful not to give up in their prayer life and continue to fan into flame the charism God has given to them so the through them positive changes, breakthroughs, progress can be made both in the church and in our immediate society.
He thanked the Chief Shepherd His Grace Most Rev Valerian Okeke for his fatherly care, love , support to the Charismatic members.
The regional president Comrade Ikechukwu Onyekwere in his contribution said their mission for staging the revival is to revive faithful and empower them spiritually in order to wrestle to the ground any challenge that may come their way during the year.
He charged fellow members to remain focused in their heavenly race through living Holy life, sacrificing for their neighbours and loving one another. He commended the Episcopal Vicar Nnobi region Fr John Bosco Ezika for hosting them.
