Special Adviser, Youth Empowerment programme to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Dr Nelson Omenugha on Tuesday, received in audience, the leadership of the Visually Impaired Students (Blind Students), Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.His words: It is quite refreshing to engage these amazing souls – learning some of their activities and challenges. It was also a perfect chance to appreciate their passion, think through areas of partnership and share some of the key commitments of Prof Soludo towards the Vulnerable Groups as encapsulated in the People’s Manifesto for a Greater Anambra. Among others, Mr Governor committed to “put in place measures to identify talents early (among the vulnerable) and ensure their participation…(pg 44).” The mandate of Mr Governor is clear: Leave no one behind.It is therefore gratifying to learn and partner in their upcoming traditional festival (ofala) scheduled for May 27, 2022 by 12pm at Garuba Square, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Among others, there will be a public display of some of their talents and products — proudly Anambra made — which we are happy to harness, market and patronise. The delegates for the visit were:1.
