Archbishop Val Sends Forth Seminarians After Apostolic Work

Feelings of joy,excitement,sentiments and nostalgia pervaded the atmosphere at the Archdiocesan secretariat as Archbishop Valerian Okeke,priests,the religious and the entire secretariat workers gathered for a send forth get-together for Senior and minor seminarians who completed their one year Apostolic Work in the Archdiocese.
The Metropolitan Archbishop of Onitsha,represented by the Chancellor of the Archdiocese,Rev Fr Prudentius Aroh celebrated the opening mass where the Financial Administrator,Very Rev Fr Ibeneme delivered the homily.
Fr Ibeneme commended the seminarians for giving good account of themselves during their service to the Archdiocese and urged them to be diligent in the pursuit of their endeavours.
In his remarks,the Chancellor urged them to be exemplary in all their future undertakings whether as priests or other callings adding that the experience they garnered within their short stay would help them a lot.
The outgoing seminarians were presented with gifts and awards in appreciation for their work.
Earlier,the Archbishop had hosted the seminarians at the Archbishop’s Court where he gave them fatherly advise and wished them well.
Among those present on the ocassion are,the Onitsha Archdiocesan Laity Council Chairman Engr Leo Obiefuna,the CMO President General,Sir Evaristus Uba and the director General of CWO,Dame Dr Ngozi Nwanosike.
Trinitas bids the seminarians including those who served in Trinitas Press, Rufus Ezechukwu and Maduadizie Gregory, goodbye.
