Life has come to a stand-still for the family of Mr. Afam Ojukwu of Umuokwu Village, Alor, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State since the disappearance of their daughter, beautiful Miss Chinelo Linda Ojukwu who was last seen since 2014 when she left her family residence at Textile Mill Junction, Asaba, Town, Delta State.
Miss Chinelo Ojukwu who was before her disappearance a final year Accountancy student of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam Campus had left home for school to continue with her studies after visiting her family and had not returned home since 2014.
Every search to see or hear from her have proved abortive even as the family had made frantic efforts through the law enforcement agencies and prayer houses to locate the whereabouts of the missing girl.
Pretty Miss Ojukwu who was twenty-five years of age before her disappearance is said to be of average height and light complexioned in nature. She is soft-spoken and could be described as a gentle and easy-going woman.
Speaking with the father of the victim, Mr.Afam Ojukwu and his wife, Ngozi in Onitsha, Anambra State yesterday, the old man who seems shattered by her daughter’s sudden disappearance said that he last saw his daughter in 2014 when she visited the family who resides in Asaba, lamenting that since after leaving for school he was yet to set his eyes on her.
The mother of the missing Chinelo,Ngozi who is a replica of her missing daughter who could not make a remarkable statement because of the uncontrollable tears in her eyes kept chanting,”God! God!! Where are you!!! .
The eldest brother of the missing girl who is based in Abuja, Mr.Ikechukwu Ojukwu told our correspondent on phone yesterday that there were tips that his sister was still alive, but lamented that since the matter was reported to the police at “A Division” ,Asaba nothing seems to have come out from their investigation.
In a twist of fate,uncomfirmed reports indicates that the missing girl was sighted around Awka, Anambra State Capital, December last year by a distant family relation.The information could not be substantiated.
