The auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha His Lordship Most Rev Denis Isizoh recently called on Christians especially parents to form the habit of visiting Christ in the Holy Eucharist. The prelate made the call while commissioning and blessing a chapel of perpetual adoration at St Dominic parish Uke. According him, it is no enough to attend only Sunday Masses without making out time once or twice in a week to visit a dedicated church or Chapel with your family members. “In this kind of visit, you must not say long prayers but to show your face to God who is present in the Eucharist. You can simply move into the church or Chapel, relax for awhile as someone who is visiting a great friend and then take your leave. Don’t be surprise that in time of trouble, sickness, sorrow, difficulty etc, the same God you regularly pay visits, will be there to save you, console, and heal you. He cannot abandon you” he explained.
