The Priest in charge of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church,Omagba,Rev Fr George Nzemuoba has been described as a simple and hard-working priest who is committed to the vocation of priesthood.
This was contained in a homily delivered by Very Rev Fr Charles Anene former teacher to Rev Fr George Nzemuoba who celebrated his 25th priestly anniversary recently.
According to Fr Anene,fr Nzemuoba embraced the Holy Spirit immediately he was ordained priest and used it for the good of mankind.
Fr Nzemuoba who is the Spiritual Leader of Divine Favour Pilgrimage Centre of Holy Spirit,Igbariam as well as the Chaplain of the Onitsha Archdiocesan Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement,endeared himself to the faithful through his ministry such that many Priests,religious and the lay faithful besieged the Holy Spirit Parish Omagba to felicitate with him on his 25th priestly anniversary.
While expressing appreciation on the huge turn out of well-wishers to his 25th priestly anniversary,fr Nzemuoba commended the Onitsha Archdiocesan Executive Director of JDPC,Rev Fr Dr Edwin Udoye and entire members of the anniversary committee for the well organised anniversary celebration and above all the new car keys and many other gifts presented to him as their anniversary gift.
The cleric hinted that his twenty five years in priest hood was joyous to him, positing that he thanked God for giving him wonderful grace to know Holy Spirit.
” I fill so great today and I praise God who made it possible for me to celebrate my 25th years anniversary. I can not do anything in a day without Holy Spirit being involved. I believed that what ever I do I will do it with Holy Spirit because He is my best friend”
He advised other priests both old and new to always allow Holy Spirit to control all their affairs and further prayed that Holy Spirit would continue to empower him and strengthening him through out the rest of his Priestly life.
Commenting, the Executive director of JDPC Archdiocese of Onitsha and anniversary coordinator, Rev. Fr. Dr. Edwin Udoye thanked God for allowing Fr. Nzmuoba to be ordained priest. He also lauded the parishioners for their unalloyed supports both individually and collectively.
Fr. Udoye stated that the ceremony went successfully well the way it was planned, testifying that Fr. Nzemuoba is simple, kind to people, generous especially to his fellow priests and remarkably known as a priest who is committed to the Apostolate of Holy Spirit.
Similarly, the parish CMO president, Prince Kennedy Ewuzie and Vice Chairman Parish Council, Mr. Ifeme Jonathan Chikelue also testified the spirituality life of Fr. Nze Muoba and his generosity.
They described him as an extraordinary priest and his presence in their parish promoted spiritual transformation among the parishioners due to his regular teachings about Holy Spirit.
