The auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha His Lordship Most Rev Denis Isizoh last Sunday, May, 22, blessed and commissioned a new Chapel of perpetual adoration built at St Dominic’s parish Uke.Speaking to the parishioners shortly before blessing the Chapel, the prelate called on faithful to embrace life of holiness since all Christians are living temple of the God. He reminded Christians that God’s temple is holy, and therefore, every one entering that temple must strive to be Holy. Chapel of adoration he said is holy a place one can encounter Christ, enjoining people of God to always take their families and wards to Chapel and pay visit to Our Lord Jesus Christ at least once in a week.The parish priest Rev Fr. John Achebe in appreciation, thanked the Bishop for commissioning the project, describing him as a loving father with large heart. He also thanked the parishioners for pulling their resources together in order to make the Chapel project a reality, describing them as people of faith.While speaking to Trinitas, he posited that opportunity has come for his parishioners to enjoy presence and Grace of the Blessed Sacrament, stating that Bishop has just opened the door of that blessing. He further revealed that Catholic faith in Uke is flourishing, urging them not to relent.
