JOY AS REGINA PACIS MODEL SECONDARY SCHOOL ONITSHA GRDUATES IT’S 2021 GRADIANTS

Saturday November was another another remarkable day in the history of Regina Pacis model secondary school Onitsha as the staff, management, parents and students organized a senthfort party for its 2021 graduands. Also the seminarian on one year compulsory apostolic work was also sent off for a job well done. However, the highpoint of the event was the official introduction to the incoming director of Regina Pacis model secondary school Onitsha, Rev. Fr. Jerome Obiekezie. This action was greeted with a thunderous cheers and pomps from among the staff, students and parents of the students. It was indeed a day to remember in the history of the school.
Preaching the homily during the mass, the outgoing director of Regina Pacis model secondary school Onitsha, Rev. Fr. Paschal Okonkwo thanked God for the successful academic year as he also appreciated the teachers as well as every other person for their roles in in ensuring a problem free academic year. Fr. Paschal Okonkwo addressed the outgoing students reminding them that they have been officially introduced into real life thus confirming that they are no longer minors. He finally reminded them that they were privileged to study in Regina Pacis model secondary school Onitsha and should keep the flag flying and represent the school positively outside.
Addressing the crowd, the incoming director Rev Fr. Jerome Obiekezie thanked the outgoing director, Rev. Fr. Paschal Okonkwo for the role he played in his life until he became a priest noting that he was both his teacher, superior who wrote reports for him during his seminary days as he urged the people to always pray for Fr. Paschal Okonkwo.
In an interview, Fr. Paschal Okonkwo poured out his thankful heart to the teachers for their support and excellence towards his stay in the school and to the outgoing students for behaving so well. Fr. Paschal Okonkwo attributed the success recorded at Regina Pacis model secondary school Onitsha to God’s grace and hardwork for the three years spent in the school and also the support of the Archbishop throughout his stay in Regina Pacis model secondary school Onitsha. Fr. Paschal Okonkwo finally expressed sentiments of gratitude to the Archbishop for his choice of his successor in Rev. Fr. Jerome Obiekezie whom he described as a hardworking, docile priest and he believes that he will use those qualities and work wonders in Regina Pacis model secondary school Onitsha.
