Public primary schools in Onitsha South 1 Constituency precisely Fegge were in a jubilation mood last week as the house member representing the Constituency Hon. Barr. Uzoma Eli distribute chairs to the primary schools.
In a speech during the presentation at Otumoye primary
school, Fegge, Onitsha, Hon.Uzoma Eli said the school chairs will give the children conducive atmosphere of learning. He thanked the headmistress of Otumoye primary school, Mrs Obiageli Orazulume for calling his attention to that area of need in primary schools under constituency .He encouraged people to come up with ideas in places that need intervention in his constituency, saying that he is looking forward to doing more for schools in the area.
The APGA Chairman Onitsha South LGA Chief Morphus Ezeoba who assisted in handing over the seats to the school, in his speech praised the efforts of the lawmaker in ensuring that pupils in the area enjoy the best of comfort in schools. He made it clear that the legislator is out to impact positively on his Constituents.
Also, Hon. Miracle Izunegbu ( personal assistant to the lawmaker) in his speech extolled the legislator for keeping to his campaign premises, disclosing that more intervention packages are coming to the primary schools in the area – courtesy of Hon Eli. According to him, the lawmaker has really transformed lives in his Constituency, revealing that today Onitsha South 1 constituents are enjoying new electric transformers, free water boreholes constructed in various parts of the Constituency, all initiated and funded by Hon Eli. He further disclosed that the lawmaker has empowered youths with Tricycles ( Keke), stating that he is planning to do more.
The headmistress Zik’s Avenue primary school Fegge ( one of the schools that benefited) Dr. Mrs Emenike Eugenia and other headmistress and headmasters their school benefitted while commending Hon. Eli described him as a dynamic , ebullient legislator with a heart of gold who use to listen to his constituents, identifying their needs and as well solving it, stating that he meet them at point of their needs. They pledged to give him maximum support.
Some of the beneficiaries are Fegge community primary school, Niger primary schools Fegge, Nupe primary school, Zik’s Avenue primary schools Fegge, among others.
