The Provost Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe Dr. Ifeyinwa Osegbo last week described the College as one of the higher institutions in the country that has recorded tremendous development both academically, morally and structurally, stating that they are waxing stronger.
The Provost who spoke to press during a religious event at the college disclosed that apart from quality education the institution is providing, many structures are springing up, a development that is actually giving the College an edge over others.
” In terms of discipline, the school is faring well. We the management has injected a lot of discipline into the system. In other words, the students know their limits and cannot afford to go haywire in their behaviour. The management is fighting seriously against anything like ‘sorting’, ensuring that our lecturers are not mandating the students to pay money for marks.
We put a lot of things in place to monitor lectures of the staff in order to discourage laziness among students. We have our environmental marshals that work round the clock to keep the school environment clean. The school security is also working hard to ensure that cultism is permanently dead in the campus”.
