Parish Laity Council of Nigeria SS John & Paul Iba-Pope Catholic Church Awada Idemili North LGA of Anambra State has brought to a close 2021 Parish Couple Seminar tagged ” The Beauty of Married Love”

The seminar which was attended by large number of parishioners was held at the parish auditorium and featured renewal of marriage vow by the participants.

Among some resource persons lectured at the seminar includes Dr. Muoghalu, Mrs Chinelo Ezeanyanwu and Brother Polycarp Onwuka.

Delivering her lectures at the seminar, Mrs Chinelo Ezeanyanwu described parental guidance as a way of Child upbringings in a particular family, stating that ideal family inculcate good character and aids a Child to develop moral conscience in the early stages.

She hinted that good Family foundation could as well enhances in the early child upbringings and urged every family to have vision before bearing Children in order to develop good character and sound moral behaviours.

In his appreciation remarks, the seminar Committee Chairman, Brother Jonathan Agu extolled the invited resources persons for their sounds teachings. He revealed that there is great challenges in the world especially in the various families.

He explained that due to indiscriminate separation of marriages, their Parish deemed it necessary to conducts seminar in order to refresh and give training to couples on the essence of perfect marriages.

Equally speaking, the vice Chairman Parish council, Mayor Peter Ezenwamba attributed increase in evil vices nowadays to family disorder, pointing out that the Seminar was a good opportunity for families to learn certain things that would enhance their marriage.

He commended the parish priest Rev. Fr. Dr. Victor Mbanisi and the parish Laity Council Exectives for their initiatives in organizing the seminar and quality reasouce persons invited, disclosing that learning is a continuous process even as he posited that he learnt a lot in the seminar.

Similarly, the parish Laity Council Secretary, Sister Chinenye Okpalachukwu noted that the seminar holds annually in their parish, describing the seminar as a period of reminding parents their duties in a home, how to train their children to become useful both in their home, Church and society in general.

She eulogized the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Dr. Victor Mbanisi and parishioners for their collaboration and prayed God to grant them memory so that they would apply what they learnt during the seminar to their various homes, just as the parish Laity Council vice Chairman, Comrade Ben Chikezie averred that the seminar will usher in spiritual transformation in many families.
