Stakeholders in Education and staff Welfare associations have been visiting to identify with the new Anambra State Commissioner for education Professor Ngozi Chuma- Udeh.
Welcoming one of the staff Welfare associations Professor Chuma-Udeh preached about peace pointing out that peace at workplace translates
to peace at home.
The education commissioner says, the essence of Staff Welfare Associations is for peace and productivity in the workplace. Commissioner Chuma-Udeh admonished members of the Ministry of Education’s Staff Welfare Association to find peaceful coexistence in their work place, in order to have peace at home. The Education Staff Welfare Association led by the Chairman Mrs Ebele Ononihu, was in the Commissioner’s office to welcome Prof. Chuma-Udeh to the Education family. The welfare association through the Chairman, Mrs. Ononihu pledged unalloyed support for Prof. Chuma-Udeh to actualize Gov. Soludo’s policies on Education.
Meanwhile,
the United Independent Assoociation of Private Schools Proprietors has also visited Commissioner Ngozi Chuma-Udeh with a pledge of total support for success of Gov. Soludo’s Education programmes.
Prof. Chuma-Udeh solicited for cooperation of the Association as the Ministry of Education and Universal Basic Education Commission and Anambra State Ministry of Education embark on biometric capturing of school children. Commissioner Chuma-Udeh explained that the exercise was for planning purposes, to enable various intervention programmes targeted at every school child in Anambra State.
