The chairman of the dealers association of the market Gab Muomegha who spoke to the press through his secretary Mr Ifeanyichukwu Solomon Eboh said the traders at the market are losing millions of naira due to the poor access roads, disclosing the bad state of the roads are really driving away their customers.
“Sometimes big trucks conveying goods to our market do fall at that road, damaging our goods. We are not only ones losing, the government is losing IGR here because if the market is doing well, the government can benefit through collection of IGR. On this note, we passionately call on our able working governor Chief Willie Obiano to come to our rescue and tar the road for us.
